Reflecting on Basic Map Skills
While doing the map skills the skill that I thought was the easiest was cardinal directions. I thought this one was the easiest for me because I already knew about it and there were a lot of sayings that went along with it. I struggled with coordinates the most. I think I struggled with it the most because you had to be so precise and there are a lot of countries that are so close together so it was hard to tell which coordinate goes with which. Basic skills help you with geography because first of all, you need to know where all the countries are and where they are located and you also need to know how to read a map.

Why standard of living is so important and how it can be used?
I think it is important to know about standard of living because it makes it easier to know how much money is used for each person...

ReplyDeleteI agree with cardinal directions being the easiest because it is simple. And I also knew it before we learned about it. I agree with coordinates being the hardest because like you said it is hard to line up and everything and there are countries right next to it, you have to follow the line precisely.
